We train little leaguers to pros. Data-driven hitting development, confirmed by the numbers.
Our hitters come in every stripe — the kid trying to earn a varsity spot, the player chasing a college scholarship, the parent who's tired of generic lessons. What they share is a want: to understand why their swing works, and to put in the reps to make it stick. That's who we built this for.
Every member gets a full assessment on Rapsodo, a Pelotero screen for movement, and a custom plan built from their numbers — not somebody else's.
Our hitters have gone on to college rosters and pro organizations across the country. Every one of them started where yours is right now.
No two hitters get the same plan, but every one walks the same five steps. We start with the body — not the bat.
Before we coach a single swing, we see how your body actually moves. The limitations show us where to start.
Thirty swings on tee, front toss, and machine. Exit velocity, launch angle, and distance — the real baseline.
Pelotero motion capture plus side-by-side video. We show you exactly what the numbers are telling us.
Built around your age, your level, your Rapsodo numbers. Four-week phases, at the facility and at home.
A coach in your corner every session, giving real adjustments and the reasoning behind them.
Plenty of places have a tee and a drill list. Here's what actually sets us apart.
A membership is your own custom program, built from your assessment and your data — plus a real facility and real coaches to run it. Every HPL membership comes with:
Built around your age, level, and goals using your screen and your Rapsodo data. Nothing off a generic sheet.
You train next to athletes chasing the same goals, with coaches who push you to keep climbing.
Real adjustments and the reasoning behind them — not just a set of eyes while you swing.
Marion is the only facility in the state approved to use the Pelotero system. Motion capture on every swing to drive your individualized plan. Handled separately from your HPL membership — we'll contact you after signup if interested.
Two ways for a younger hitter to train with us — our Youth Player Development Academy for first-timers, or ongoing HPL Youth weekly training for kids ready to commit.

Where a lot of young hitters get their first taste of real coaching. Clinics covering the whole game — stance, load, barrel path, timing. Built with HPL and PPL staff together.

Our ongoing weekly program — the one that actually builds the swing over time. Not a one-off clinic, so your athlete keeps building on what they learned the week before.
A private coach gives you one hour. HPL gives you an entire program — a Rapsodo assessment, a movement screen, a custom plan, ongoing coaching, and the facility whenever your plan allows. Private lessons are a piece of what we do; the real value is the program around them.
Not even close. We train everyone from 6-year-olds swinging off a tee to college hitters tuning their launch angle. The program is custom to the athlete — if your kid is serious about getting better, they'll fit right in.
Year-round. Walk-in Monday, start Tuesday. No windows. No wait lists. The weekly membership structure means you join when you're ready.
Weekly rates are shown above and that's the whole price — no card processing fees, no sales tax, no onboarding fees. Pelotero at Marion is a $25/mo optional add-on we handle separately.
Yes — 12 weeks for High School, 8 weeks for Youth. We've found that's the honest window to actually see change in a hitter's swing, so we ask every member to commit to that at signup. After the initial commitment is up, there's no further commitment — the weekly membership just continues, and you can pause or cancel anytime by calling or texting HPL.
On the 1×/week plan, you get one coached session each week. On Unlimited, train every day the facility is open — up to six times a week. Miss a week on 1×/week? No makeup, but you can always add a session.
Instructors with 20+ years' experience, including former D1, D2, and professional players. The lead coach at your location is on the floor every session you're in.
Rapsodo numbers every session — exit velocity, launch angle, max distance. Reassessments every 5–6 weeks so you can see the trend. Parents get the data.
Marion offers both baseball and softball at the same prices. Our softball hitters train with the same data-driven approach — stance, barrel path, timing — adapted for the fastpitch swing.
Yes. Parents are welcome in every session. We'd rather you see exactly what you're paying for.
Our sister program PPL (Pitching Performance Lab) runs out of the same facilities. Many of our athletes are on both. Ask about a combined membership.
Every hitter's window to get better is short. There's no time to waste sugarcoating things or telling you what you want to hear.
So we tell you the truth: about your swing, your habits, your movement, your pitch recognition. We address what's actually holding you back and build the best version of that hitter we possibly can with the time we have.
If you're ready to work, start by picking your location and plan. Takes two minutes.
